Physical AI is artificial intelligence that perceives the physical world through sensors and lidars and makes its own decisions. At the hackathon teams build solutions for humanoid robots; Almaty Tech Cup 2026 hosted a 48-hour hackathon on Unitree humanoid robots. The Humanoid Robot R&D track aims, with Astana Hub, to build a Physical AI competence centre in Central Asia.
